Will prescribed drugs, such as DDAVP, end the bedwetting?
Drugs may help temporarily, but they tend to be ineffective as a permanent remedy because they effect only the symptoms and not the actual cause of the bedwetting. Bedwetting drugs are hormonal in nature and are either anti-depressants or cause dehydration of the fluids in our body.
These drugs are not safe for long- term use and once the drugs are stopped, the bedwetting returns.
